About Me

My name is Austin Sane.

I'm a multi media artist and writer.

I started Surreal Sane as a space to share my art and experiment with different types of media. Over time, it naturally grew into a multimedia service for hire.

I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds—whether it's musicians, small businesses, or artists alike—to help capture their events, products, and ideas in a way that feels authentic and visually engaging.

Recently, some of my work has been featured in places like Rome and parts of India. You can find it at www.exibart.com. My work has also been published in Grassroots magazine, which you can check out here.

I have a background in narrative and documentary filmmaking, along with experience in studio photography, scriptwriting, and directing.

Alongside other projects, I’m working on a documentary about British philosopher Alan Watts.

This film explores how his teachings have shaped not only individual perspectives but also pop culture, with his ideas showing up in everything from Hollywood films to indie music.
